- We enjoyed the Oscars but we didn't guess very well on who the
winners were going to be, guess we like different movies and actors
than the Academy does.
- We learned out to ski this year. The girls LOVE it!
- Winter has been very mild, I'm still waiting for the blizzard of
2011 to hit us, of course if that happens, the trees that have buds
on them already might not appreciate it.
- I got a 5,000 piece puzzle for Christmas, took two months to
finish it. I'm missing a
piece! I let it sit for three weeks while pondering what to do
about the missing piece. Buy a new one, keep looking, re-quiz
children and house guests about possibilities, make one (that would
have been interesting) but instead I decided to write the company
and see if they can send a piece from another puzzle to me. They
said sorry, they couldn't do that. Argh! So, I put the
puzzle away. I used Ziplock bags to section it up in case I
ever get so insane as to try to put it together again. Got it
all back in the box, then did my typical crawl around on the floor to
see if I dropped any pieces and, you guessed it, I found the puzzle
piece. Are you kidding me? There is NO way that piece
was there before I put the puzzle away. So, now the puzzle is
all back in the box in these nice Ziplock bags and I found the last
piece. Scot says, are you sure it's the missing piece,
shouldn't you put the puzzle back together to make sure? Guess what puzzle I'm working on now.
